Mason Jar Mania for Your Next Summer Event

Mason jars are versatile, functional, & fun to use.  Here we used them to serve rasberry iced tea with a wedge of watermelon.

We kept the same theme in color along with the theme of mason jars throughout the event.  Here we used it as a floating vase.  Place any light-weight flower in a small amount of water.

Fill mason jars with utensils and napkins with a colorful bow or use a large mason jar for the centerpiece.

We also filled them with sand and dropped a tealight within to give our event a warm glow.  They're perfect for filling with candies for the dessert table.  Here we have gummies, gumballs, and cotton candy.

We filled a large tub with ice and placed mason jars filled with rainbow sherbet inside.  They're perfect for individual servings.  For this dessert we used smaller jars.

Another great treat to serve in mason jars at the dessert table is pretzel rods dipped in white chocolate and rolled in colored sprinkles.

So for your next event, try some of these wonderful ideas; your guests will love them!  Be sure to pick up your issue of Shabby Lane Shops Magazine available at bookstores or even online at ShabbyLaneShops.com.  You'll see this post featured in the magazine.  Having the magazine is an easy way to keep these clever ideas available at your fingertips.
